Lead of Industry Application Management – Cems, Emission Treatment and Process Optimization

Role Overview:

The Lead of Industry Application Management – Cems, emission treatment and process optimization is a key industry-specific expert leading the Team responsible in identifying and defining the best applications of ENVEA’s environmental solutions to help our clients minimize their environmental impact. You will have a direct responsibility in the emissions treatment segment. You and your team will support business development by providing technical expertise, cultivating strong relationships within industrial communities, and delivering crucial feedback to Product Managers. This role is critical in driving new business, resolving complex application issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction, making a significant contribution to ENVEA’s mission to help prevent the harmful impacts of environmental pollution on living conditions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Team Lead:

  • Manage and develop a team of Application Managers, providing strategic direction, setting priorities, and ensuring alignment with ENVEA’s business goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing environment within the application management team, encouraging innovation and accountability.
  • Mentor and coach your team to enhance their capabilities in business development, client engagement, sales support and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure that team efforts are aligned and contribute to the overall success of the Minimize- segment.

Strategic planning:

  • Develop long-term growth strategies for its scope, working with the team to assess trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices informing future ‘minimize’ business building blocks.
  • Foster cross-industry partnerships and collaborations: Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, technology providers, and industry peers, to ensure the team stays ahead of industry trends, adopts best practices, and integrates cutting-edge solutions.

Application Expertise & Support:

  • Act as the expert for ENVEA applications and solutions in the Treatment segment, across different industries including carbon capture plants.
  • Provide technical support by addressing and troubleshooting application-related issues for clients.
  • Assist clients with the installation, configuration, and customization of applications to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to identify and resolve application challenges.
  • Gather client feedback and communicate insights to Product Management to guide future product development.

Business Performance & Accountability:

  • Take accountability of the global minimize business, in line with strategic directions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability, ensuring that financial performance aligns with company targets.
  • Use market data and performance analytics to continually optimize strategies, identify new opportunities, and mitigate risks.

Client Engagement & Sales Support:

Industry Relationships & Networking:

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key players in the industry, including end-users, OEMs, laboratories, universities, and system integrators.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes to gain insights into competitor strategies, pricing, and market positioning.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent ENVEA and showcase technical expertise.
  • Develop industry-specific sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.

Product Innovation & Application Development:

  • Contribute to product ideation by aligning technologies and applications with industry requirements.
  • Identify and define new application opportunities for ENVEA’s environmental solutions.
  • Support the development and replication of industry-specific applications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to develop sales arguments and training content for new product launches.
  • Provide input to ensure the product roadmap meets industry needs and future growth opportunities.

Training & Best Practices:

  • Train internal sales teams on industry-specific applications under the coordination of the Sales Improvement Manager.
  • Share best practices for application optimization and tool usage across the organization.
  • Assist in developing explainer content and product training materials for customer-facing teams.

Field Engagement & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Conduct field visits to engage with customers directly, offering hands-on support and gathering feedback.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge-sharing network within the company to ensure best practices are implemented globally.
  • Participate in strategic projects to align ENVEA’s applications with market demands and customer requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (engineering, environmental science, physics, etc.); advanced degrees are a plus.

  • Proven Knowledge in industrial treatment plants such as Filters, Flue Gas Cleaning, Scrubbers etc.

  • Knowledge in CEMS analysers and systems are a plus

  • Results-oriented with a proactive, initiative-taking work ethic.

  • Strong multitasking abilities, handling multiple projects and priorities effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAGE, and Salesforce.

  • Experience in an international environment, working with cross-functional and global teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to see projects through to completion.

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is highly desirable.

Travel:

Willingness to travel internationally up to 30-40% of the time for customer engagements, trade shows, and industry events.
